Meet Janea Sizemore: The Woman Behind The Perfect Fit
Impact in Motion: A community moment from a Perfect Fit experience, where young people and volunteers gathered to celebrate effort, achievement, and the opportunity to choose new athletic footwear.
A MISSION BUILT AROUND OPPORTUNITY
Janea Sizemore is the Founder & Executive Director of Your Perfect Footwear Foundation, a Las Vegas-based organization creating meaningful opportunities for underserved youth.
She also works professionally as a payroll advisor and signs as Executive Director & Senior Payroll Advisor. In both roles, her work is centered on preparation, accountability, and helping people move toward greater stability.
Your Perfect Footwear Foundation brings those values together through programs that connect literacy, financial education, mentorship, workforce readiness, and positive reinforcement.
The mission is clear. The approach is structured. The impact is personal.
“Empower underserved youth by integrating academic literacy, financial education, mentorship, and positive reinforcement to eliminate barriers to success. Through structured, outcome-driven programs that strengthen reading proficiency, financial decision-making, workforce readiness, and personal development, paired with tangible incentives such as new athletic footwear, we equip students with the confidence, accountability, and skills necessary to succeed in school and beyond.”
That mission is what makes Janea’s leadership distinctive. The foundation does not present new shoes as the entire solution. Instead, The Perfect Fit experience becomes part of a broader youth development model: one that recognizes effort and reinforces the belief that learning, preparation, and perseverance can lead to real opportunities.
A RECENT CONVERSATION ON POWER NV103.1
On September 15, 2026, at 1 PM, Janea joined Shawna on POWER NV103.1 for an interview focused on her organization, her programs, and the young people at the center of the work.
The appearance offered listeners an opportunity to hear directly from the person leading this mission. It also reflected the connection between Your Perfect Footwear Foundation and POWER NV103.1, which began on April 2, 2026.
At POWER NV103.1, we believe authentic conversation can move communities forward. Our platform exists to amplify independent voices, celebrate culture, and create space for leaders who are building meaningful change. Janea’s work represents that mission in action.

THE PERFECT FIT IS BIGGER THAN THE SHOES
The foundation’s signature experience gives students who put in the work an opportunity to select a brand-new pair of athletic shoes: often for the first time.
That moment matters.
Students are not simply receiving footwear. They are participating in an experience designed to affirm their worth, celebrate their progress, and remind them that their effort is visible.
Janea captures the meaning of that moment in her signature quote:
“This moment is bigger than the shoes. It is about lifting students, empowering them to see themselves differently, and reinforcing that their effort leads to real opportunities. For many of our youth, this becomes a defining experience that builds confidence, strengthens self belief, and motivates them to continue striving for more.”
That belief shapes the foundation’s work. The Perfect Fit is the centerpiece, but it is supported by programs designed to strengthen the skills students need long after the experience ends.
FOUR PROGRAMS. ONE CONNECTED APPROACH.
Your Perfect Footwear Foundation leads four core programs. Each one addresses a different area of growth while contributing to a larger framework for youth success.
1. BOOKS & BANKS: FINANCIAL LITERACY FOR THE FUTURE
This eight-week high school program focuses on practical knowledge and future readiness.
Students explore:
Budgeting
Credit
Banking
Workforce readiness
Mentorship
Professional development
Financial literacy for teens is an essential part of long-term confidence. Understanding how to manage money, evaluate financial decisions, and prepare for work can help young people navigate their next steps with greater clarity.
2. STEP INTO STORYTIME BOOK CLUB
This literacy initiative focuses on the skills that support academic progress and lifelong learning.
The program emphasizes:
Reading comprehension
Vocabulary development
Critical thinking
Step Into Storytime creates space for students to engage with reading while strengthening the tools they use across subjects, conversations, and future professional environments.
3. STEP INTO SUCCESS MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Through this program, youth connect with professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.
The focus areas include:
Personal development
Leadership
Career pathways
Exposure to professional perspectives
Goal-setting and growth
Strong mentorship can help young people see possibilities that may otherwise feel distant. It can also provide encouragement, accountability, and access to guidance at important stages of development.
4. THE PERFECT FIT PROGRAM
The Perfect Fit brings the foundation’s philosophy into a tangible, memorable experience.
Students who demonstrate effort have the opportunity to select a brand-new pair of athletic shoes in an environment designed to affirm their accomplishments. The experience connects achievement with confidence while reminding students that their hard work has value.
This is youth mentorship, positive reinforcement, and community support translated into a moment young people can feel, remember, and carry forward.
THE YOUNG CEO HOLIDAY BUSINESS & BANKING EXPERIENCE
Janea’s current initiative is the Young CEO Holiday Business & Banking Experience, serving 30 youth in foster care between the ages of 10 and 17.
The initiative focuses on:
Financial literacy

Youth development
Earned recognition and opportunity
The program journey is structured across four stages:

Build: December 18–22, 2026

Organizations and individuals interested in supporting foster youth can explore the following sponsorship tiers:

Financial Empowerment Partner: $5,500
Student Experience Partner: $2,500
Community Champion: $1,500

Because sponsorship and participation needs may change, interested partners should contact Your Perfect Footwear Foundation for current information.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Janea’s model recognizes that young people need more than inspiration. They need access, preparation, support, and opportunities to practice real-world skills.
That is why the foundation combines:
Academic literacy
Financial education
Youth mentorship
Workforce readiness
Personal development
Positive reinforcement
Tangible earned experiences
Together, these elements create a stronger foundation for students to succeed in school and beyond.
For a Las Vegas nonprofit serving youth through practical education and meaningful recognition, the work is both ambitious and grounded. It speaks to a simple but powerful idea: when young people are equipped, encouraged, and trusted with opportunity, they can begin to see a wider future for themselves.
